A 4500pt Welsh/Irish Guards battlegroup vs. 3000pts of German Stugg Brigade. The scenario is assualt with the Germans in defence.
The British advance starts in a lop sided fashion as only one force arrives, the Germans send out a force of Stuggs which with a large number of command rolls reachs the river. However the RAF think that the Germans are taking a liberty and send in the Typhoons who brew up the lead Stugg. With a bit of encouragement from their CO the other Guards formation puts in an appearance.
The British flanking force arrive and devestate a section of infantry and a half track, however the panzerfausts take out a bren carrier full of assualt engineers and a wasp. German Nebelwerfers devastate the Guards motor infantry (four halftracks and their occupants) and another wasp. British counter battery fire has little effect on the mobile Nebelwerfers. Meanwhile the RAF return and brew up three more Stuggs on the road. The British start to cross the river on one side, appearing to adopt what looks like an cavalry wedge formation! A second group of Stuggs starts to exchange fire with Cromwells and M-10s across the river.
The dual between the M-10s/Cromwells and the Stuggs continues, the M-10s are suffering badly from mortar fire. Nebelwerfer fire claims am armoured car and damages the British CO! Meanwhile the RAF take out a halftrack and damage the German CO - tit for tat! A large number of command rolls from the British allows one of their formations to move 85cms down the road and clear out the last of the German resistance on the let flank.
The Germans pass a break test at -2 to stay in the game, but despite both sides fireing off a lot of rounds not one unit is KO'd!
The Germans however do not pass their next break test and the British claim a good victory.

{ROE} Commandos vs. Fallshirmjager
20pts advance to contact in the snow of winter 1944.
Much movement but little action from both sides, some long range fire achieves nothing,
The British take a rather dastardly approach and put a 95mm shell into the church were the German HQ section is positioned, several casualties are caused. Meanwhile in the villiage a Fallshirmjager section advances into the centre but are met by a commmando sub section, close combat ensues! In the centre the another subsection tries to grenade a panzershreck team to death, they kill one man. A third combat breaks out between the Fallshirmjager and the Commando recon section, the commandos however are weakened by some op. fire from a nearby wood.
Mainly close combat, the Fallshirmjager suffer in most but in one fight they give the commandos a kicking.
The Germans pass a break test. The commandos in the town sweep across the snow and engage the armoured car with AT grenades, unfortuantly the explosion kills three of the commandos. The support tanks and the British MG continue to pepper the German sniper team to no effect.
The Germans pass another breaktest. The British storm the ruins of the Church with grenades and bren gun fire but achieve little, they are then wiped out by the German HQ. More close combat notches up a few more dead Fallshirmjager.
The British take and fail their first break test! What a shocker!
A minor victory for the Fallshirmjager, both sides also complete their secret orders, the Fallshirmjager protected their Commander and the British destoryed the German armour.

Somalia 1993
Shortly after Battle of Mogadishu American reinforcements start to arrive in the form of IVFs and MBTs. These forces are deployed straight away into an assualt up on a pro-Aidid neighbourhood. The Somlians have found an T-55 from the Ogden War!
The Americans roll forward on the right flank a number of succesfull command roll and a command bonus allow for a rapid progession which revels the position of the T-55 which draws some fire. The American HQ receives friendly fire and the Somalias launch a devasting AMBUSH! The Yanks retaliate with an attack helicopter.
Rangers assualt the remenants of the Somalian ambush. Long range combat between the Yanks and the Somlian technicals, leaves smoke on both sides. The bradleys head into town, that building looks ominously like it might be full of skinnies...
It is! The Somalians open up with volley fire from RPGs and take out a Bradley and a Humvee! Meanwhile the American sniper supresses a Somalian HQ. The Yanks score a command bonus and while the troops dismount the vehicles punish the skinnies, the dismounts add to this volume of fire pouring into the building, a TOW humvee and the attack chopper attempt to level the building. The American CO attempts to send in an air assualt but fails. From another building a swarm of Somalians storm out and race across the sand but run of steam just short of their target.
Its break test time for Adids boys and they fail!
